This division of Da Gama covers all fabric sold into the PROTECTIVE CLOTHING INDUSTRY.  It has a wide range of products that service all segments of this market, such as
Mining Industry Light Industry Finishes are applied to enhance the finished product; these include water repellence, flame retardant, acid resist, soil release, crease resist and antibacterial. The final product produced meets international specifications for protective clothing and is the reason that Da Gama is respected as a major supplier to the industry. GOVERNMENT TENDERS Da Gama’s Contracts Division is responsible for processing all GOVERNMENT FABRIC TENDERS. These include fabrics used by state departments, all of which must meet detailed SABS specifications such as
Infra-red absorbent South African Defence Force Camouflage Shirting Sheeting for state and private hospitals. All of the major State Departments use Da Gama as a preferred supplier for their products.
