Da Gama has over 70 years of experience in producing quality cotton and polycotton blend fabrics, and in 2020, we made the decision to diversify our offering.

Niche technical textiles have consistently remained in demand from both local and export markets over the past decade. Identification of this gap in the market has led to significant investment into a new Da Gama Technical Division. Operational and in production from March 2022, we are pleased with the quality and performance of the fabrics we have manufacturer so far.

The Da Gama Technical Division will manufacture industrial and protection-focused technical, niche market textile solutions.
Our product portfolio will consist of:

• Technical workwear fabrics
• Military and private sector protective fabrics
• Specialised industrial base cloths

Our network of value chain partners, alongside our on-site experience and expertise, are what give us an edge in the market.

Although production capacity is limited currently, the Technical Division is set to enter a growth stage in 2023.
